Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Therapist licensure in California.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• Active RRT credential required.
• ACLS and BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains Pulmonary knowledge and licensure within facility scope.
• Administers respiratory therapy treatments and monitors effects.
• Assesses patient pain and coordinates interventions with nursing and rehab teams.
• Follows infection control and equipment sterilization procedures.
• Documents data in patient records and care plans.
• Operates and inspects respiratory therapy equipment safely.
• Formulates and evaluates care plans with patients and families.
• Oversees shift operations as in-charge therapist when needed.
