Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Therapist in California.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• Active RRT credential with current ACLS/BLS.

Responsibilities

• Provides respiratory care per physician orders and facility policies.
• Administers therapies and monitors patient response and side effects.
• Assesses pain interference with function and coordinates interventions.
• Maintains infection control and equipment sterilization procedures.
• Documents data in medical records and tracks progress.
• Develops care plans and includes patient/family education.
• Operates and troubleshoots respiratory equipment safely.
• Leads daily shift operations and coordinates with nursing staff.
