Overview

Ballard Rehab Hospital, located in San Bernardino, CA, is a 60‑bed rehabilitation facility that provides rehabilitative services to people recovering from disabilities caused by injuries or illnesses. The hospital helps patients regain physical or cognitive abilities to return home at the highest level of independence. It offers a fast‑paced, friendly work environment where clinicians can build strong relationships with patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Provide efficient, quality‑oriented patient care within the scope of the department’s policies and procedures. Perform support activities such as equipment maintenance, inventory management, and setup and operation of respiratory care equipment for diagnosing and treating respiratory disease and/or illness.

Required Skills

• Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy program.
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.

Additional Qualifications / Skills

• One (1) year of critical care and/or artificial airway and ventilator care experience preferred.
• ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor preferred.
• Ability to present a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use and effects of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Posted Total Compensation

The wage range for this role is $30.71 to $37.43, plus a 10% PRN bonus. Compensation takes into account factors such as skill set, experience, education, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs.
