CHI Williston Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join an established team delivering specialized cardiopulmonary care. You will assess, treat, and monitor patients, develop care plans, and respond calmly in routine and emergent situations.

Responsibilities include diagnostic testing, administration of therapies, patient education, and collaboration with physicians and staff to coordinate care and support staff training.

Competenze

Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy (or equivalent) required at hire.
Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy required at hire.
Respiratory Care Practitioner license in North Dakota (RESP-LIC:ND) required at hire.
Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR) required at hire.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required at hire.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required at hire.

Mansioni

Assess patients of all ages with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions, evaluating symptoms and determining respiratory care needs.
Perform diagnostic testing and administer respiratory treatments per physician orders and treatment plans.
Monitor, document, and communicate patient responses to therapy, including effectiveness, tolerance, and compliance.
Educate patients on respiratory treatments and techniques to support ongoing care at home.
Collaborate with physicians and the care team to coordinate patient care and assist with onboarding, training and competency development of respiratory staff when qualified.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Respiratory Therapist, you will join an established team of RTs who share your passion for delivering highly specialized cardiopulmonary care to patients experiencing breathing issues. You'll be instrumental in providing a range of treatments from breathing techniques and nebulizer treatments to ventilator management, oxygen therapies, and external ventilation support.Every day you will apply your keen assessment skills and critical thinking to manage diverse patient needs, develop and execute effective care plans, and ensure calm, focused intervention in both routine and emergent situations.To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, unwavering calm under pressure, and the ability to anticipate outcomes. Your dedication to patient well-being and exceptional problem-solving abilities will drive success in this vital role.

Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care and assist with onboarding, training, and competency development of respiratory care staff when qualified.
