CHI Mercy Health Valley City is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our established team of RRTs delivering specialized cardiopulmonary care to patients with breathing issues. You will manage treatments from nebulizers to ventilator support, applying keen assessment skills and critical thinking to develop care plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program.
• BLS required by North Dakota; ACLS and PALS to be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• North Dakota Respiratory Therapy Practitioner license.

Responsabilités

• Evaluating patient and recommending a treatment plan.
• Provides respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical/surgical conditions.
• Performing/assisting insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Performing timely and accurate documentation with real time charting.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will join an established team of RRTs who share your passion for delivering highly specialized cardiopulmonary care to patients experiencing breathing issues. You'll be instrumental in providing a range of treatments from breathing techniques and nebulizer treatments to ventilator management, oxygen therapies, and external ventilation support.

Every day you will apply your keen assessment skills and critical thinking to manage diverse patient needs, develop and execute effective care plans, and ensure calm, focused intervention in both routine and emergent situations.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluating patient and recommends a treatment plan

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an Accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program
• Six (6) to twelve (12) months’ experience in Respiratory Care or other related field
• Respiratory Therapy Practitioner: North Dakota
• Certified Respiratory Therapist
• Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the state of North Dakota
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support to be obtained within 30 Days of start date
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support to be obtained within 30 Days of start date

Pay Range

$30.91 - $45.98 /hour
