Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Therapist Licensure required.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• Three or more years of experience in cardiopulmonary services preferred.

What You Will Do In This Role

• Maintain knowledge of oxygen delivery methods and equipment, assess for side effects
• Administer respiratory therapy treatments, understanding their purposes and side effects
• Set up and monitor mechanical ventilators, including airway management and tracheal suctioning
• Assess patient pain levels and communicate with physicians for intervention
• Perform arterial punctures for blood gas analysis, understanding associated risks
• Perform EKGs, interpret reports, and handle documentation
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Therapist Licensure
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy
• Current CPR certification (specify if BLS or ACLS)
• Three or more years of experience in cardiopulmonary services preferred
