Job summary

MED-STAT HEALTH CARE INC in South Jersey is seeking a Respiratory Therapist on a per diem basis to join our team. You will evaluate patients undergoing various procedures and recommend appropriate respiratory treatments, with hands-on care, including endotracheal tube management when needed.

You will collaborate with patients and families to explain procedures, uphold respiratory regulations, and ensure comfort and safety while delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Active credentials from the NBRC or state board equivalent required
• State licensure required
• Deep understanding of respiratory care, patient care, and best patient practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Summary

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist per diemto join our team in the South Jersey area. As a Respiratory Therapist on the team, you will be responsible for evaluating patients undergoing many different procedures and medical situations and making recommendations for an appropriate respiratory treatment plan. You may also provide respiratory care to medically fragile or complex patients, insert or remove endotracheal tubes, and work closely with the patient and their family to ensure they understand what is happening every step of the way. The ideal candidate has a patient, kind attitude with excellent bedside manner, a deep understanding of patient needs, and a strong grasp on respiratory regulations and best practices.
