Job summary

Requirements include NBRC RRT, NJ license, and BLS certification with an AS in Respiratory Care (BS preferred) and 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy.

Respiratory Therapist - Full Time/Per Diem

Position Summary:

Assesses patients' pulmonary status, develops plan of care in collaboration with the physician and nurses and delivers respiratory care to patients. Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc.

Basic Qualifications:

Registered Respiratory Therapist credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care; New Jersey Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner, BLS,

Education:

AAS degree in Respiratory Care, BS preferred, or current enrollment.

Experience: Respiratory therapy: 1 year (Required)

Licensure/Certification:

• RRT
• NJ Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner
• BLS Certification

Special Equipment/Skills:

Ventilators, BiPAP, high flow oxygen systems, bedside bronchoscopy, rented equipment, including but not limited to The Vest (CPT vest) and The Coughlator.
