Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to administer respiratory therapy treatments to assigned patients in an onsite setting. The role is part of the 1199SEIU Bargaining Unit and reports to the Clinical Manager, Respiratory Care.

Minimum requirements include an associate degree or equivalent, MA license, and BLS; NRP required within 3 months. Per diem schedule with varied shifts and ongoing education expectations are included.

Qualificações

• Associates degree or equivalent required.
• Respiratory Therapist license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Set up, apply, and administer respiratory therapy as directed using complete range of equipment.
• Perform pulmonary consultations and make recommendations for modes of therapy, frequency and duration.
• Perform basic bedside and advanced pulmonary function testing.
• Provide education to patients on disease processes, therapies and use of home equipment.
• Provide emergency assistance such as CPR.
• Maintain records and quality control in the department.
