Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Cooley Dickinson Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to administer respiratory therapy to assigned patients, under supervision of the Clinical Manager. This on-site per diem role requires licensing in Massachusetts, BLS, and NRP within 3 months, with 6 months to 1 year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• Respiratory Therapist license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required.
• NRP certification required within 3 months of hire or transfer.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, apply, and administer therapy using respiratory equipment.
• Perform pulmonary consultations and recommend therapy modes, frequency, and duration.
• Evaluate therapy effectiveness and report changes to physicians.
• Maintain records of treatments and prepare charges for submission.
• Maintain and calibrate diagnostic and therapeutic equipment.
