Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for Pediatric and NICU care. The role requires proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Therapy with added NICU and pediatric competencies.

You will execute assignments in accordance with hospital and respiratory policies, and may supervise Respiratory Students in clinical settings. Required NBRC-CRT or NBRC-RRT, RRT/RCP-State licensure, and BCLS; PALS certification within 30 days or PALS instructor eligibility is expected.

Qualifications

• Neonate resuscitation must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Certificate (unspecified) required.
• NBRC-CRT or NBRC-RRT certification required.
• RRT/RCP-State licensure required.
• BCLS certification or instructor required.
• PALS certification required within 30 days or PALS instruction status.

Job Summary And Qualifications

It is the responsibility of the staff respiratory therapist to demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care with additional competency in NICU and Pediatric patient care. The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for execution of assignments. All care will be in compliance with hospital and respiratory policies. May work with Respiratory Students in the clinical care setting.

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Certificate
• (NBRC-CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist, or (NBRC-RRT) Registered Respiratory Therapist
• (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor Required
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
