Job summary

Medical City Dallas seeks a dedicated Respiratory Therapist specialized in Pediatrics and NICU to deliver skilled respiratory care across neonatal and pediatric patients. You will implement therapies, monitor patients, and collaborate with physicians and care teams in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Neonate resuscitation must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• NBRC-CRT or NBRC-RRT certification
• Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner license (RRT/RCP-State)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required or instructor within 30 days

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care across neonatal and pediatric patients, with NICU specialization.
• Execute assignments and ensure adherence to hospital respirator policies.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff; may supervise Respiratory Students in clinical care.

Job Summary And Qualifications

It is the responsibility of the staff respiratory therapist to demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care with additional competency in NICU and Pediatric patient care. The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for execution of assignments. All care will be in compliance with hospital and respiratory policies. May work with Respiratory Students in the clinical care setting.

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Certificate
• (NBRC-CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist, or (NBRC-RRT) Registered Respiratory Therapist
• (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor Required
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
