Sabal Palms Health & Rehabilitation is hiring a Pediatrics Respiratory Therapist for full-time overnight shifts (7P-7A) at the Largo campus. The RT will assess, treat, and manage pediatric patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders, administering oxygen and aerosol therapies, and monitoring outcomes.

Collaboration with physicians is essential to develop effective treatment plans. This role offers shift differentials and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Therapist (required)
• Experience in pediatric care preferred
• Ability to operate respiratory therapy equipment and monitor patient progress

The Respiratory Therapist (RT) plays an integral role in the success of our team, our community and creating a place our residents are proud to call home. The primary purpose of this position is to assess, treat, and manage patients with breathing difficulties or cardiopulmonary disorders by performing diagnostic tests, administering respiratory therapies like oxygen therapy and aerosol medications, monitoring patient progress, and educating patients on managing their lung conditions; they work closely with physicians to develop treatment plans and often operate specialized medical equipment.
