Job summary

The Respiratory Therapist (RRT - Standby) at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah provides best practice respiratory care and education to patients with pulmonary diseases. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team and ensures care meets quality standards set by ThedaCare and regulatory agencies.

Schedule includes 4 hours weekly, 0.1 FTE, with potential urgent responsibilities in a dynamic healthcare environment. Licensed Wisconsin Respiratory Care Practitioner and BLS/CPR required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in respiratory care required.
• BLS/CPR certification for healthcare providers required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by role or facility.
• Current State of Wisconsin License Respiratory Care Practitioner

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, collaborate, and provide individual care through best practices and education to support the patient’s health.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures according to established standards and policies.
• Apply knowledge to establish and communicate the plan of care for patients.
• Document accurately and timely using current technology.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
• Adapt to rapidly changing priorities in urgent situations.

Education

Associate’s degree from an accredited respiratory care program
