• Educates patients and families on respiratory disease processes, procedures, and discharge plans.
• May reassign to other units as needed; shares clinical knowledge with staff and students.
• Performs preceptor duties for staff and students; plans, implements, and evaluates respiratory care.
• Leads workflow to optimize staffing and assists with orientation and daily department operations.
