Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Erie is seeking a Part-Time Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our clinical team in Erie, PA. You will evaluate patients, recommend treatment plans, and provide respiratory care for critically ill patients in a high‑ acuity setting. The position runs 6:30 p.m.

• BLS certification required by start date.
• ACLS required upon hire. Agency RT must have ACLS before first shift.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.

Minimum Requirements

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required upon hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift)
