Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Erie is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for PRN shifts in Erie, PA. The role supports critical care patients with advanced respiratory needs on a 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. schedule, offering $40 per hour and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, providing respiratory care, managing endotracheal tubes, and teaching families, with ACLS required on hire and NBRC credentials maintained.

Qualifications

• Active NBRC credential (CRT or RRT) or state equivalent.
• BLS certification by start date.

• ACLS required upon hire; agency RT must have ACLS on first shift.

Schedule: 6:30 a.m. - 7 p.m. - PRN/Per Diem/As Needed

Compensation: $40.00 per hour

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required upon hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift)

Preferred qualifications:

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
