Job summary

UCHealth Estes Valley Medical Center in Estes Park, CO is hiring a Respiratory Therapist to join the EVMC Respiratory Therapy team. This is a full-time, on-site role working days with a 72-hour/paid period schedule.

Responsibilities include providing high-level respiratory care, ventilator management across care levels, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, evidence-based patient care. NBRC RRT certification and state licensure as needed are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC).
• State licensure if required by law.
• ACLS within 1 year of hire; NRP within 6 months; BLS valid through start date.

Responsibilities

• Provides top of scope patient care using respiratory therapy protocols to promote optimized outcomes.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.
• Models wellness, patient-centered care and evidence-based practice.
• Precepts and mentors new staff within the unit.
• Ventilator management and airway support across care levels.
