Job summary

Lincare Holdings is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team in San Jose, CA. You will provide in-home CPAP setups, ensuring clients have proper understanding and care for their equipment. This role requires a licensed therapist with at least two years of relevant experience.

Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently. This contracted position allows you to earn extra income while maintaining your full-time job.

Qualifications

• Ability to establish relationships with clients and educate them on equipment usage.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

As a part of our continued success, we are currently seeking a Respiratory Therapist to complete in‑home CPAP setups. In this position, you will be responsible for setting up PAP equipment, providing patient education according to the patient's needs. This will involve teaching, advising, and cleaning to ensure appropriate functioning of our equipment in home and as patient needs arise.

Contracted Position

Respiratory Therapist (CONTRACTED 1099) must live in or near San Jose, CA area for in‑home CPAP setups.

Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Therapist
• Minimum of two years' experience in home CPAP/BiLevel setups
• Familiarity with CPAP and BiLevel equipment and services provided in the home
• Familiarity with CPAP masks and ability to assess type and size for client
• Ability to establish relationship with client and educate on proper use and care of equipment
• Willingness to use personal vehicle for business with a valid driver's license and clean record
• Availability evenings and weekends to meet the needs of the patient
• Current State Respiratory Therapy License in good standing
• Have a working computer, printer, and scanner to obtain and print orders
• Excellent verbal, communication, and people skills; ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Commitment to provide exceptional service to our clients

Physical Demands

• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
