Job summary

Optigen is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to set up CPAP/BiLevel equipment and educate patients in home settings in the Jacksonville, FL area.

This per diem, 1099 contracted role requires at least two years of home CPAP experience, a current State Respiratory Therapy License, and a valid driver's license. Evening and weekend availability and independent work are essential. Training and support will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience in home CPAP/BiLevel setups.
• Current State Respiratory Therapy License in good standing.
• Willingness to use personal vehicle for business with valid driver's license and clean record.
• Be available evenings and weekends to meet the needs of the patient.

Responsibilities

• Set up PAP equipment for patients and educate them on proper use and care.
• Provide patient education according to individual needs and ensure equipment functions correctly in home settings.
• Teach, advise, and assist with cleaning to maintain proper operation of equipment.
• Occasional in-home visits as needed in Jacksonville, FL area.

As a part of our continued success, we are currently seeking aRespiratory Therapist.

In this position, you will be responsible for setting up PAP equipment, providing patient education according to the patient's needs. This will involve teaching, advising, and cleaning to ensure appropriate functioning of our equipment in home and as patient needs arise.

Respiratory Therapist (PER DIEM ONLY) must live in or near Jacksonville, FL for office CPAP setups. Occasional in home as needed

Earn extra income - this is a 1099 contracted position.

Licensed Respiratory Therapist

We are looking for an experienced Respiratory Therapist who combines exceptional human relations skills to interface with our clients and a wide variety of customers. You should display excellent verbal, communication, and people skills. In addition, it is also vital that you demonstrate commitment to provide exceptional service to our clients as well as the ability to work on an independent basis with minimal supervision.

Other Requirements Include:

• Familiarity with CPAP and BiLevel equipment and services provided in the home
• Familiarity with CPAP masks and be able to assess type and size for client
• Ability to establish relationship with client and educate on proper use and care of equipment
• Minimum of two years' experience in home CPAP / BiLevel setups.
• Willingness to use personal vehicle for business with valid driver's license and clean record
• Be available evenings and weekends to meet the needs of the patient
• Current State Respiratory Therapy License in good standing
• Have a working computer, printer, and scanner to obtain and print orders
