Lincare is currently seeking a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join a growing team. This employee is responsible for the setup of home medical equipment, including ventilators, monitors, CPAP/BiPAP units, and/or other related equipment. The employee will also educate and train patients on the proper usage of prescribed equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and provide education on home medical equipment including CPAP/BiPAP machines, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators, and mechanical ventilators
• Inspect, test, and adjust home medical equipment to ensure safety and efficiency
• Review prescriptions and patient information to assess condition and determine suitable treatment in accordance with physician orders
• Maintain accurate and organized patient records complying with accreditation standards
• Stay current with respiratory homecare techniques and relevant concepts
• Work on-call after hours and weekends as needed, with frequency depending on center size and staffing
