Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital – Tulsa is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our night shift team. The RT will assess patients, develop treatment plans, and deliver specialized respiratory care for highly complex cases, including airway management.

A strong orientation program and growth opportunities accompany a comprehensive benefits package. Applicants must hold an active NBRC CRT/RRT credential, provide proof of graduation, and maintain BLS; ACLS is required within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active NBRC CRT or RRT credential or state equivalent.
• Graduation proof: college transcript/diploma preferred or high school/GED.
• BLS certification required by start date.
• Current state licensure required.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire (PRN ACLS at hire).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.

Location: Select Specialty Hospital-Tulsa

Schedule: Full Time nights

Sign-on bonus: $15,000

Rate: $34.69-$46.00 per hour depending on years of experience

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.




• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.




• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.




• Current state licensure is required.




• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire).

Preferred qualifications

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
