Qualifications

• ACLS within 6 months of employment start date
• BCLS within 30 days of employment start date
• NRP within 6 months of employment start date
• PALS within 6 months of employment start date
• NBRC-RRT certification required
• RRT/RCP-State certification required

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status by focused exams and breath sounds
• Deliver evidence-based therapy across emergency, critical care, and acute settings
• Manage ventilation and airways, including invasive and noninvasive modes
• Educate patients and families; act as clinical resource and partner with physicians and nurses
• Maintain respiratory equipment and follow infection-prevention standards
