Job summary

TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for PRN night shifts in Springfield, Tennessee. You will guide patients through routine and critical respiratory care, perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and manage ventilation across care settings with access to advanced respiratory technology and a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 90 days of employment start date.
• BLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• Neonatal Resuscitation within 90 days of employment start date.
• PALS within 90 days of employment start date.
• RRT/RCP-State Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status by performing focused exams and interpreting breath sounds.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy including oxygen support and airway clearance techniques.
• Manage ventilation and airway support including invasive and noninvasive ventilation.
• Educate patients and families, act as clinical resource, and collaborate with physicians and nurses.
• Maintain and sanitize respiratory equipment, ensure readiness, and follow infection prevention standards.

Education

ACLS within 90 days

BLS within 30 days

Neonatal Resuscitation within 90 days

PALS within 90 days
