Job summary

TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center in Smyrna, TN is looking for a Respiratory Therapist RRT PRN to guide patients through care. You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, manage ventilation and work with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Must obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months of employment start date.
• Must obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.
• Must obtain Neonate Resuscitation within 6 months of employment start date.
• Must obtain PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months of employment start date.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT) certification required.
• RRT/RCP-State certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and perform focused exams.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy in various care settings.
• Manage ventilation and airways, responding to emergencies.
• Educate patients and support the care team.
• Maintain equipment and follow infection-prevention standards.
