TriStar Summit Medical Center in Nashville, TN is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for night shift (7pm–7am). The role requires delivering high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care and aligning with state and specialty standards.

You will perform assessments, administer therapies, assist with airway management, and monitor ventilation. Qualifications include TN licensure, NBRC-CRT or NBRC-RRT within 30 days, ACLS/NRP/BLS/PALS within specified windows, and an Associate Degree.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• NRP must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• TN Respiratory Therapist licensure is required.
• NBRC-CRT or NBRC-RRT must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document patient assessment including breath sounds and cuff pressure.
• Administer respiratory therapies such as oxygen delivery and chest physiotherapy.
• Assist with placement of artificial airways and manage mechanical ventilation.
• Monitor patient response and notify provider of any adverse changes.
• Assist with transportation of ventilator-dependent patients.
• Respond to emergent situations and ensure airway integrity during resuscitation.
