Qualifications

• Active NBRC CRT or RRT credential
• BLS certification by start date
• Current state licensure required
• ACLS required upon hire for agency RTs
• Proof of graduation via transcript/diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical conditions.
• Insert and remove endotracheal tubes when necessary.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients/families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
