Job summary

Bronson Battle Creek is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a full-time night shift. You will deliver cardiopulmonary care, interpret blood gases, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied staff to support patient safety.

The role requires a Michigan RT license, an AS in RT (BS preferred), and certifications in BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP. Widespread bedside duties call for strong teamwork and flexibility.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy is required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Active Michigan RT license required; RRT credential within 1 year of hire.
• Mandatory BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP per site requirements; BLS within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient respiratory therapy per provider orders and protocols.
• Evaluate ABG results and adjust therapy accordingly.
• Communicate findings to providers and nursing staff promptly.
• Manage artificial airways and ventilator care per policy and safety standards.
• Assist with codes and life support; participate in Code Blue as needed.
