Job summary

Bronson Battle Creek is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for full-time night shift. You will provide cardio-pulmonary care to patients, follow physician orders, evaluate ABGs, and collaborate with the care team across shifts to ensure patient safety.

The role requires an AS in Respiratory Therapy, Michigan license, and RRT within one year of hire; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Night shifts and 36 hours/week are offered with a $5k sign-on and $10k retention bonus for external candidates.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy is required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current Michigan Respiratory Therapist license is required.
• RRT credentials within 1 year of hire for new hires.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory therapy per provider orders, protocols, or guidelines.
• Evaluate blood gases and adjust therapy as needed.
• Communicate results and recommendations to doctors and nursing staff.
• Assist with procedures such as intubation and airway management when qualified.
