Job summary

Sanford Health in Bemidji, MN is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join a full-time team at Bemidji Medical Center. You will assess patients, measure lung capacity, and provide diagnostic guidance across Med Surg, Ortho, PEDS, OB and ICU/Acute Rehab floors.

The role requires an accredited Respiratory Care degree, NBRC RRT credential, active state licensure, and BLS. This full-time position includes 72 hours per pay period with 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, and a strong benefits

Qualifications

• A degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited program is required.
• Must hold NBRC credential (RRT) and maintain active status.
• Current Respiratory Therapy licensure in state(s) of practice.
• BLS certification; ACLS/PALS credentials may be preferred.
• Proficiency with patient documentation and data gathering for quality care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to prevent, detect, monitor and manage disease and complications.
• Measure patient's lung capacity to determine impairments.
• Offer diagnosis results and treatment suggestions based on analysis of the patient.
• Work across clinical areas ranging from general floors to critical care.
