Job summary

Medical Solutions Direct Hire in Stayton, Oregon is hiring a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a full-time, night-shift staff role at a community hospital. This permanent position offers competitive wages, benefits, relocation support, with a 36-hour week and 3 x 12-hour nights.

The therapist will provide care for cardiopulmonary patients, perform assessments, administer gases and inhaled therapies, manage ventilation, and assist in emergencies.

Qualifications

• NBRC RRT or CRT and Oregon RT license (or eligibility within 6 months).
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS and NRP preferred.
• Strong communication and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care for patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Perform patient assessments and deliver targeted inhalant treatments.
• Administer medical gases including oxygen, heliox, and nitric oxide.
• Manage mechanical ventilation, BiPAP, and CPAP.
• Conduct diagnostic testing (PFTs, EKGs, ABGs) and assist with emergency response teams.
• Participate in trauma and C-section support teams.
