Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital – St. Charles, MO is hiring a New Graduate Respiratory Therapist (RT) for a full-time Day or Night schedule. The 13-week paid preceptorship pairs you 1:1 with a skilled instructor to support new grads and those with less than 1 year of post-grad experience.

Starting pay ranges $35.30–$47.50 per hour based on experience, with competitive night/weekend differentials and a $15,000 sign-on bonus with no commitment or repayment. Attend our hiring event and meet with managers.

Qualifications

• Active CRT or RRT credential from NBRC or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation: college transcript/diploma or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• BLS certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients and recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Minimum Requirements

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required upon hire.
