Select Medical is looking for a full-time Respiratory Therapist (RT) - New Graduate for their facility in Columbus, North Carolina. The role offers a structured 10-13 week orientation and a sign-on bonus of $15,000 to support new graduates.

Responsibilities include evaluating patient treatment plans, providing care for critical patients, and promoting quality improvement. Essential qualifications include a graduate of an accredited program, an active CRT or RRT credential, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care or state equivalent required.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Current state licensure required; student permit acceptable based on regulations.

Position: Respiratory Therapist (RT) - New Graduate

Location: Select Specialty Hospital - Columbus - Vic Village

Schedule: Full-time / 12-hour shifts / Nights Compensation: $35 per hour

Sign-on bonus: $15,000

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Graduate of accredited program for Respiratory Therapy.
• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• BLS certification required.
• Current state licensure required. Student or Educational permit to practice acceptable based on individual state regulations.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
