Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assessing respiratory status and determining need for interventions.
• Delivering oxygen therapy, aerosolized meds, airway clearance and other treatments.
• Managing ventilation and airway support including invasive and noninvasive modes.
• Educating patients and families, acting as a clinical resource, and collaborating with care team.
• Maintaining and sanitizing equipment and ensuring infection-prevention standards.

ACLS within 6 months

BLS within 30 days

Education

NBRC-RRT / RRT-RCP-State

Associate Degree or Vocational School Graduate
