HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to guide patients through routine care and critical moments, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures while managing ventilation across care settings. You will have access to advanced respiratory technology and mentorship from RT leaders, with a collaborative team supporting ongoing professional growth.

Competenze

ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
Neonate Resuscitation must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
PALS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
Associate Degree required.
NBRC-RRT or equivalent licensed RT must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.

Mansioni

Assess respiratory status and perform focused exams with interpretation of breath sounds.
Deliver oxygen, aerosols and airway clearance therapies across care settings.
Assist with artificial airways, initiate and monitor ventilation, respond to changes.
Educate patients and families, collaborate with physicians and nurses, support newborns when needed.
Set up, operate and maintain respiratory equipment following infection prevention standards.
