Cone Health Medical Group in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to assess patients, order and interpret tests, plan therapies, and administer prescribed respiratory treatments. You will operate ventilators and related equipment, monitor patient responses, and provide education to patients and families while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and the broader care team.

Education requires a high school diploma and graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy

Qualificações

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Licensure by the NC Respiratory Care Board and NBRC credentials (RRT or CRT) within six months of hire.
• BLS CPR (American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider); ACLS and PALS.
• PALS certification or equivalent is required at hire.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients and develop prescribed respiratory therapy plans.
• Conduct pulmonary function tests and interpret results.
• Administer inhalants and operate respiratory equipment.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust therapy as needed.
• Coordinate discharge planning and home care instructions.
