Qualifications

• Must be a certified Respiratory Therapist and licensed in the state.
• Completion of a two-year accredited Respiratory Program.
• Current CPR certification or CPR within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate respiratory treatments per orders and standards.
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized meds, chest physiotherapy, suctioning.
• Monitor cardiopulmonary status including SpO2, vitals, labs, imaging.
• Set up and manage respiratory equipment (O2 concentrators, CPAP/BiPAP, nebulizers).
• Educate residents and families on disease management and equipment use.
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and document care.
• Maintain infection control and equipment cleaning/disinfection.
