Lionstone Healthcare is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team and provide comprehensive respiratory care for residents. You will assess, treat, and manage patients with breathing disorders in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in this state.
• Must understand the English language.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Knowledge of supply practices, procedures, and guidelines.
• Ability to minimize waste of supplies and avoid equipment misuse.
• Willingness to seek out new methods and incorporate them into practice.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct respiratory therapy programs in accordance with regulations for nursing care facilities.
• Meet with administration, medical and nursing staff to plan therapy services.
• Represent the facility in meetings and participate as directed.
• Maintain respiratory therapy standards of practice.
• Develop and coordinate policies and procedures and resident care plans.
• Review respiratory therapy policies and participate in updates.
• Evaluate staffing needs for the respiratory therapy department.
