Job summary

Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist V (Shift Lead) to oversee daily respiratory care operations on the day shift. You will assess, treat, and document patient care while leading staff and ensuring compliance with clinical standards.

The ideal candidate holds an RRT license, NBRC credential, BLS, and ACLS/ASLS as appropriate. You will contribute to quality improvement and patient outcomes within a renowned oncology/cardiology driven

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Care or Cardiopulmonary Sciences.
• Advanced Critical Care training as defined in the Respiratory Clinical Ladder.
• Basic computer and mechanical skills required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency in respiratory therapeutics and non-invasive ventilation.
• Maintains accurate documentation of patient care.
• Utilizes arterial blood gas analyzers and related testing equipment.
• Leads the respiratory care team and communicates with the healthcare team.
• Ensures attendance and compliance with policies and procedures.
• Provides care across non-critical, intermediate, and ICU units.
