ViziRecruiter, LLC. is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to provide critical respiratory support to patients at their New York location. The ideal candidate must possess an Associate Degree and a current NYS Respiratory Therapist License, along with experience in the field.

Responsibilities include administering diagnostic and therapeutic modalities under professional standards. Experience with pediatrics or neonatology is preferred. The role offers an opportunity to impact community health directly.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• CRT, RRT or Registry Eligible by the National Board for Respiratory Care.

Overview

For positions that have only a rate listed, the displayed rate is the hiring rate but could be subject to change based on shift differential, experience, education or other relevant factors.

Responsibilities

• Provide Respiratory support to all patients with abnormalities of cardiopulmonary function.
• Administration and monitoring of all diagnostic and therapeutic modalities within the service’s scope of practice.

Requirements

• Associate Degree - Required.
• Graduate of an AMA Respiratory Program or Certificate of completion from an AMA accredited program - Required.
• Current NYS Respiratory Therapist License - Required.
• CRT, RRT or Registry Eligible by the National Board for Respiratory Care (CRT may perform procedures under the supervision of an RRT) - Required.
• Current BLS by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross - Required.
• 1-2 years of experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
• Pediatric/Neonatal experience preferred.
