Job summary

SuperCare Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist 1 to support patients in their homes in the San Leandro area, with responsibilities including assessment, instruction, and setup of respiratory equipment. The RT-1 role includes on-call coverage and a pathway to RT-2 based on performance and leadership discretion.

Qualifications include graduate from an accredited RT program and active licensure as an RCP, with experience in respiratory care and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited RT program and licensed RCP.
• Experience as Respiratory Therapist.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive and document orders for respiratory equipment and services.
• Assess patient needs and select appropriate therapy or services.
• Instruct on proper use and care of respiratory equipment.
• Coordinate with physician on changes to Plan of Care.
• Provide 24-hour on-call service as scheduled.
• Maintain patient accounts paperwork and plans of care.
