Job summary

SuperCare Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist I in Monterey, CA to assess patient needs, select appropriate respiratory equipment, and educate patients and families on proper usage. The RT-1 will support 24/7 on-call coverage and contribute to a high-touch home care model.

The role includes documentation, coordination with physicians, and maintaining safety and quality standards. Eligible candidates may advance to RT-2 after one year, depending on performance.

Qualifications

• Graduate from accredited RT Care Program (licensed RCP).
• Experience as Respiratory Therapist.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• People-sensitive, helpful demeanor; detail oriented.
• Must be able to lift up to 75lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receives and documents orders for respiratory equipment/services.
• Assesses patient needs and selects appropriate therapy or services.
• Instructs on proper use and care of respiratory equipment.
• Communicates changes in patient condition to physician and adjusts Plan of Care.
• Completes patient accounts paperwork and liaison with patient/family/physician.
