Job summary

SuperCare Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist 1 to assess patient needs and select appropriate respiratory equipment or services for in-home care.

The RT-1 will educate patients and families on device use, document plans of care, and coordinate with physicians to adjust treatment as needed. This role supports 24/7 on-call services and may transition to RT-2 after one year based on performance.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited RT Care Program (licensed RCP).
• Experience as Respiratory Therapist.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receives and documents orders for respiratory equipment and services.
• Collects information from insurance or physician as needed.
• Assesses patient needs and selects appropriate therapy or services.
• Instructs patients and families on proper use and care of equipment.
• Communicates with physician about changes in patient condition.
