East Park Care Community is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to assess, treat, and care for residents with breathing disorders, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care. You'll lead respiratory therapy activities, participate in policy development, and support staff through training and supervision.

The role emphasizes adherence to standards, equipment maintenance, and proactive problem solving to improve resident outcomes in a long-term care setting.

Qualifikationen

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in this state.
• Must be able to understand the English language.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action in a timely fashion.
• Must be knowledgeable of supply practices, procedures, and guidelines.
• Must possess the ability to minimize waste of supplies, misuse of equipment, etc.

Aufgaben

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct our Facility's respiratory therapy programs and activities.
• Meet with administration and staff to plan therapy services.
• Represent the Facility at meetings and participate as directed.
• Maintain respiratory therapy standards of practice.
• Develop and coordinate respiratory therapy policies and procedures.
• Review respiratory therapy policies and manuals annually.
