Job summary

Novant Health's Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a full-time night shift from 7pm to 7am. The RRT leads patient care under ventilation protocols with autonomy, possibly including intubations and arterial line placement depending on the facility.

Candidates should have an associate degree, hold RCP licensure, and the RRT credential; new grads must obtain the RRT within 12 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in respiratory care is required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure in the appropriate state is required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential is required.
• New graduates must obtain the RRT credential within twelve months of hire.

Our Registered Respiratory Therapist II (RRT) serve as intricate leaders of the healthcare team by establishing an authentic personalized relationship with the patient and their support system. Respiratory therapists practice under respiratory and ventilator management protocols with a high degree of autonomy. Depending upon the facility, they perform intubations and insert a-lines.

• Location: Forsyth Medical Center - Winston-Salem, NC
• Hours and FTE: Full-time Nightshift 7pm-7am

What We're Looking For

• Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current RCP licensure in appropriate state, required. Registered Respiratory Therapist Credential, required.
• Additional Skills/Requirements (required): New graduates of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program are required to obtain the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential within twelve (12) months of their date of hire.
