Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care in critical care areas with ventilator management and independent decision-making.
• Administers aerosolized medications, bronchial hygiene, and other respiratory therapies.
• Educates patients and families; mentors new staff and students.
• Performs arterial blood gas sampling and analysis; verifies orders and documents care.
• Maintains patient safety, accuracy of orders, and participates in quality improvement initiatives.
