Wellstar Kennestone Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist II to deliver expert respiratory care in a high-acuity setting. The role emphasizes ventilator management, patient assessment, and education for patients, families, and new staff.

You will work a FT night schedule in Georgia, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide safe and effective care. Minimum education includes an accredited RT program with an AS degree; a BS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program (CoARC or CAAHP).
• Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient care in critical care areas with ventilator management.
• Perform patient assessments and therapy adjustments.
• Educate patients and families; mentor new staff and students.
• Coordinate with the health care team for care planning and documentation.
• Ensure safe, quality care and adherence to policies.
