MUSC Midlands is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver advanced respiratory care across patient populations. You will perform diagnostic tests, administer therapies, manage ventilators, and collaborate with physicians to develop individualized care plans.

In this role you will participate in ICU and emergency care, support transport of critically ill patients, and educate families on respiratory care techniques.

Competenze

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a clinical setting.
• Licensure: Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist; RRT credential required.
• BLS, ACLS required; PALS and NRP obtained during orientation or within 90 days.

Mansioni

• Perform diagnostic tests and administer respiratory therapies.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans with physicians.
• Monitor and adjust ventilator settings and respiratory support devices.
• Perform pulmonary function tests and ABG analysis.
• Provide respiratory care in ICU and emergency settings; assist in patient transport.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques and equipment.
