Job summary

The Johns Hopkins Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to assess and intervene for patients with cardiopulmonary issues. You will administer diverse therapies, including medical gas, humidity, aerosol, and bronchial hygiene, while managing both invasive and non-invasive ventilation.

Under supervision, you will collaborate with care teams to implement multidisciplinary plans, maintain credentials, and support education and excellence in patient care. New grads are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Respiratory Care is required.
• Maryland State License is required.
• CPR and BLS certification are required; ACLS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and recommend interventions for patients with cardiopulmonary issues.
• Administer respiratory therapies (gas, humidity, aerosol, hyperinflation, bronchial hygiene).
• Manage both invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement multidisciplinary care plans and fulfill duties as needed.
