Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City seeks a Respiratory Therapist to perform the scope of practice including diagnostics, patient assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in collaboration with the medical team. The role supports quality care, patient education, and discharge planning, with RRT required by start date.

Part-time, day shift in a busy clinical setting. A current Associate degree and licensure in Respiratory Therapy are required, with BLS certification also

Formación

• RRT credential required by start date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required by start date.
• Respiratory Therapy licensure in your state or applicable region.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential may be required by some facilities.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clinical services per respiratory therapy scope of practice including diagnostic tests, patient assessment, treatment planning and interventions.
• Coordinate with medical staff and health care team to ensure quality, cost-effective patient care.
• Educate patients and families and participate in discharge planning and performance improvement activities.
